The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) area supports the management of product-related information and processes across the lifecycle of the organisation’s products. The landscape consists of multiple product teams and applications, each with its own architects, delivery setup, and domain expertise.

A key focus area is the integration between PLM and SAP, where engineering data is progressively being automated and transferred into SAP to support commercialization processes. The environment includes PLM platforms, SAP solutions, and Azure-based services, requiring strong architectural governance and cross-functional collaboration.

We are looking for an experienced Architect to provide maternity leave coverage within the PLM domain. This is a hands-on architecture governance role supporting several product teams and working closely with Product Management, architects, IT governance functions, and business stakeholders.

The Architect will act as a trusted architectural partner to the Head of Product and product teams, ensuring alignment across initiatives, adherence to enterprise standards, and consistent implementation of architectural and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight across multiple PLM-related products and initiatives.
• Support and guide individual solution architects and delivery teams on architecture standards and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, cloud, and governance policies.
• Drive the communication and implementation of new IT policies and requirements across the product landscape.
• Review and challenge architectural decisions to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Contribute to architecture documentation, standards, and governance processes.
• Support ongoing initiatives involving PLM, SAP integration, and Azure-based solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior Architect with strong experience in enterprise and solution architecture.
• Experience working within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good understanding of software development practices and modern application architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture principles.
• Experience working in complex, multi-vendor environments.
• Ability to translate governance and policy requirements into actionable guidance for delivery teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English communication skills. Danish a big plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PLM platforms such as Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar.
• Experience integrating PLM solutions with SAP.
• Background in manufacturing, consumer goods, or engineering-driven organizations.
• Experience working in Agile product team setups.

Additional Information

• This is a pure Architecture role – not a Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Transformation Lead position.
• The role focuses on architectural governance, technical guidance, and decision support across several product teams.
• Availability as soon as possible is preferred.

Experience

• Solution Architect/Tech Lead, well versed in the complexities of large organizations.
• Experience with PLM/PIM/ERP systems.
• Experience with both Java and C# is an advantage.
• Experience with both technical and non-technical stakeholder management.
• Experience working with SaaS and legacy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Documentation driver and supporter for developers in different teams.
• Creates and owns technical solution design, estimates and communication of solution together with the team.
• Checks in with the team frequently.
• Is able to follow through and check the progress on all projects.
• Maintain and follow technical roadmap.
• Support Delivery Leads.

Practical Information

• Duration: 01-08-2026 to 31-01-2027.
• Work setup: Ideally 100% onsite, but minimum 2-3 day/week.
