The position is based in Lund and you will report to an Operations Development Manager.
The role may involve travelling ~ 1 week every second month for commissioning.
Minimum Hybrid, on site preferred.

Operations Development is reinforcing the team with an OT Specialist that have deep knowledge and experience of Siemens PLC systems and programming.
In this role you will be an important member of a central development team with global responsibility. Your task will be PLC and HMI / SCADA software development in close cooperation with suppliers and manufacturing units. You will develop interface to bridge MES and brownfield as well as new equipment.

You have a strategic perspective in combination with good practical skills. You are a team player experienced working in projects and motivated by both finding solutions and executing projects, with a good diplomatic sense.
What you know
You have a technical degree within Automation, Electrical engineering or similar.
You have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience from manufacturing industries, with a good understanding of system design, automation technologies and commissioning of equipment.
You have experience to work with different PLC systems of various age (the interface to be developed is communicating with new and old equipment)
Experience of working with Siemens PLC system is a requirement.
Experience of working with Aveva (Intouch/Application Server), Rockwell or Beckhoff (PLC) is a plus.
If you have experience of building automatic PLC software testing environment it is a plus.
Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment combined with strong communication skill are required.
Ability to organize, lead and drive your own work is required.
